The award from Bedfordshire & Luton community Foundation enables Men In Sheds to complete it’s long awaited refurbishment programme.
Allied Associates have chosen DMiS to receive their Christmas Charity payment this year.
Wonderful that a well established local company is supporting our local charity.

Through the Inspiring Volunteering Grant Scheme we received a grant to boost our funds
Dunstable Town Council have been our biggest supporter, providing the Shed and helping to make Dunstable Men in Sheds a going concern
We have benefitted from the generosity of many individuals who have donated tools and equipment and materials that they no longer needed.
We are a registered charity and an accredited museum,
we are run entirely by unpaid volunteers from PIMS
(Pitstone and Ivinghoe Museum Society)
You are open Mondays and Fridays
We are open for volunteers to work on Tuesdays & Thursdays
& volunteers are needed on Open Days
(Bank Holiday Mondays & 2nd Sunday each month)
We, like you, have lots of old men and some ladies who keep the museum going by means of their skill and dedication.
We have a huge selection of tools and machinery at our disposal,
that volunteers can use to produce all the wonderful work they do.
If you fancy coming to see what’s on offer,
why not come and see us.
Come as a group by prior arrangement or individually
on a Tuesday or Wednesday.
Come about 10am when we stop for tea or coffee.
Ask for me and I will give you a tour of our facilities.
Ideally contact me first but you can just turn up.
